Q: Is it possible to color
ceramic tile? I just bought a house that has a new white ceramic
tile floor in the kitchen and I hate the fact that it constantly
needs cleaning. Any ideas?
A: You could have the grout recolored or replaced, which would only partially help, or you might be able to refinish it, which would coat both the tiles and grout in one solid color. However, I do not know if that process would be durable enough for a floor.
To look into it, please visit our site at: www.servicemagic.com. To research changing the grout, type "Repair Tiling" in the search box then fill out that service request, explaining what you want in the additional details box so we can match you with the ideal service professional in your area.
To see about resurfacing the tile and grout, type "Refinish Porcelain and Enamel Surfaces" into the search box and fill out a service request. If we don't have anyone listed in your area, check out: www.miraclemethodusa.com for an explanation of the process and names of specialists in your area.
Good luck!
