Q: My outside sewer line has a hole in the pipe. For the last ten years I have had the pipe snaked to clear the root obstruction. I need a permanent solution. What is my next step?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. It sounds like you need to have part of your underground sewer pipe dug up and replaced. For that you will need a plumber with a backhoe. Although we do not currently have a specific job request online for sewer line repair, we do have service professionals who could take care of that for you.

To find a reliable plumber to replace a section of broken sewer pipe, visit us at http://www.servicemagic.com and join as a member (it's free).

Good luck with your project!
