Marbleizing

Q: Can you give me step-by-step instructions on how to marbleize. I've recently wallpapered walls and the new wallpaper has a marble appearance. On the parts that are not wallpapered I've repainted and want to also give the look of being marbleized.

Can you please direct me to where I can find this information and please keep in mind a low-budget.

A: I think a visual demonstration is the only way to go. I recommend you visit a home improvement store and buy a book with pictures or even sign up for a class You can also buy "How-To" books and videos on the Internet. Just type "Faux Painting" into a good search engine (Excite.com is my favorite).
