Q: I would like to expand my countertops.
I'd also like to widen the new countertop in this section to allow
for an eating bar. Looking to use granite, if costs allow.A: Thanks for your inquiry. Expanding countertops to create eating bars is a common upgrade during replacement, so anyone experienced with installing your countertop should be able to do that for you with no trouble.
I recommend you visit our website at: www.servicemagic.com, fill out a service request, explaining that you hope that granite will be affordable. That will inform the service professional of your intentions, and make them understand that you may need to make some cost comparisons (with other products, or perhaps large granite tiles will give you the characteristics you want at less cost than solid granite, etc.).
Good luck with your project and enjoy your beautiful new countertop!
