Finding a Log Cabin Door

Q: We are remodeling our shed and are putting on log siding. We would like to know what kind of door to put in. We would like something to fit with the style of a log cabin.

A: I would think a plain wooden door would fit the style of a log cabin, but why don't you browse through some of those magazines featuring vacation homes and log cabins to see what those builders use? There are also some photos of log style homes online (just type "log homes" in a good search engine--I have good luck with Excite.com).

You could also ask some door installation specialists for some suggestions. They may even be able to show you some catalogs or send you to a supplier to look at samples.
