The following are things to ask and expect when your service professional comes to help you choose, install or repair your door:

If you are going to need to have one door repaired, check the other doors in the house for minor problems that can be fixed all at once. Make sure that the doors fit with the layout of your house.
They need to match your requirements and lifestyle i.e. a play area for children.
If your entryways or other doors could use some reorganization, hire a carpenter or architect to design the ideal interior layout plan for you.
Locks should all be in working order.
Be aware of routine maintenance requirements, such as oiling of hinges, and repainting or staining.
